Most global medical researchers agree that most lifestyle diseases like heart disease, obesity, high blood pressure (hypertension), cancer and diabetes can be reduced by a regular, moderate exercise practice of at least 30 minutes a day for 5 days a week. This may seem like a lot when you have not exercised for some time. But it is however critical for our health. Imagine being able to keep up with your furry friends, kids and grandchildren. Plus, think of the health care cost that can be reduced by starting life style practices that help to prevent illnesses that can seriously limit the quality of our lives, reduce our independence and cause premature death. 

I really believe in ChiWalking and ChiRunning because it offers a safe way to build in increases fitness by just learning to walk in a way that helps you build good posture, body balance, engage your core and help us learn to focus on correcting poor body mechanics that can cause serious injuries later. However, it does not matter what you do just choose a way to regularly get your exercise on for a least 30 minutes a day / 5 days a week.
